*Burton's product development team is working hard to reduce carbon emissions across all hardgoods categories without compromising on technical performance. This is proving to be a challenge for some categories, but we're committed to making positive progress for future seasons. Our 2020 goals for product are based on design year, meaning the Winter 2022 product season is our target for completion. Here is the breakdown of performance by category for the upcoming Winter 2020 product season, in terms of carbon footprint per unit compared with the Winter 2017 baseline: Bindings reduced by 5%; Boards reduced by 19%; Boots increased by 7%; Goggles increased by 29%; Helmets increased by 14%.
