Gear may be delivered to your home or picked up at your hotel or resort, letting you enhance your snowboarding experience with high-quality gear. There are plans available for both adults and children, making it a perfect solution for those who want to avoid rental queues or families with kids who outgrow their gear quickly.

Burton Online Rental delivers the same latest gear you’ll find in stores. In addition to Burton’s iconic freestyle boards like the Custom (Men’s) and Feelgood (Women’s), this season you can also choose the all-round Family Tree Hometown Hero for everything from carving to powder.Of course, all setups feature our STEP ON® system. The newly added STEP ON® Boots “Highshot X” deliver an even higher level of fit and response.We also offer a rental plan for STEP ON® bindings and boots only—perfect for riders who want to experience STEP ON® for the first time. For kids, rental plans include not only a full snowboard set but also outerwear.

Choose Your Gear
How to Rent
You can register and choose your rental period, board size, boot size, and stance (regular or goofy) through the rental mall "Kauriru" (https://kauriru.com/burton-rental). Gear will be shipped to your desired location. For returns, simply drop off the gear at a nearby convenience store or Yamato Transport service center.
*To apply, you’ll need to register as a member of the rental mall "Kauriru".
*A valid ID such as a driver’s license, My Number card, driving history certificate, or passport is required for confirmation of identification.

Q. Can I pay via cash on delivery or bank transfer?
A. Payment is only available by credit card.
Q. Are there any shipping fees?
A. Shipping is free. The cost is included in the rental fee. A prepaid return label is included with the gear, so return shipping is also free.
Q. Can the gear be shipped to locations other than my home?
A. Yes, please specify your preferred delivery address when completing your rental request.
Q. Is it possible to extend or change the rental period?
A. No, extensions or changes to the rental period cannot be made after the application has been completed.
Q. How do I return the rental items?
A. The three-piece set will be delivered in a Burton board bag. When returning, please pack the items as they were delivered, fill out the necessary information on the included return slip, and ship by Yamato Transport during the return date.
Q. Can I rent just the kids STEP ON® boots and bindings?
A. No, the option to rent only kids STEP ON® boots and bindings is currently unavailable.
Q. Can I use this service if I'm a foreign national or not residing in Japan?
A. Yes, a passport is required for identification purposes.
Q. What happens if I damage the gear?
A. In the event of damage, loss, or theft, please contact our customer service. For damage or stains, we will assess the condition of the returned items and get back to you with the appropriate response.
*In the case of loss or theft, you will be charged the purchase cost of the same product or a comparable item.
*If you experience theft, please file a police report and provide the report number to our customer service.
