Do I need to make an appointment in advance to participate in a Step On® Test Ride Tour?
There is no need to make an appointment or reserve product in advance for a Step On ® Test Ride Tour. The test ride product hand out is on a first come, first served basis.
How long can I try out product at the Step On® Test Ride Tour?
You can test and ride our products at Burton Step On® Test RideTour events up to 1,5 hours. After that period, we ask you to return the gear, to give others the chance to discover the magic as well!
What time does the Burton Step On® Test Ride Tour start and finish?
The Step On® Tour booth is usually open from 10.00 to 15.00.
How can I find the Burton Step On® Test Ride Tour at the mountain?
The best way to find where the Step On® Tour booth will be located is to go to our Facebook events page.
Can beginners with no snowboarding experience participate in a Burton Step On® Tour?
Since we do not offer riding lessons, the Step On® Test Ride is only suitable for riders with previous snowboarding experience.
What are the age restrictions & how old does my kid need to be to try Step On®?
If you are younger than 18 years old, you’ll need to have a parent or guardian sign you up for a test ride. Burton Step On® bindings are available for snowboarders as young as 4 years old. Check out our range of youth Step On® bindings. We have exciting new products there. Please note: we cannot offer Groms products at all test ride events. Please check out the Facebook events description, to make sure we have smaller products available.
Do I need to bring my own snowboard to participate in a Burton Step On® Test Ride Tour?
You can test Step On® bindings on your own snowboard, but we also have complete setups ready for you to ride.
What sizes of Step On® boots & bindings do you have available?
Usually, we have a range of sizes available from Step On® Grom (11C) up to men's size 14 (US).So, the whole family can test and experience the Step On® at our test ride tour events:
Step On® Grom size 11C to 2K
Step On® Men's size US 8 to 14
Step On® Women’s size US 6 to 10
Can I purchase Step On® right after testing?
We don’t sell bindings at Burton Step On® Test Ride events. We recommend visiting your nearest Burton Flagship Store or ordering them at Burton.com.
Do you have boots on the Step On® Tour to test, as well?
We have Step On® boots available to test, with our Step On® bindings. Regular snowboard boots will not work with the Step On® system, and we do not rent them on the Step On® Test Ride Tour.
Can I demo Burton snowboards at the Step On® Test Ride Tour? What boards will you have available and in what sizes?
Yes, you can demo Burton snowboards at a Step On® Test Ride Tour. Usually, we’ll have a variety of current season boards available to demo, ranging from Jib-Boards to All-Mountain, to Freeride, to kids’ boards starting at 80 centimeters. Find a location near you. Please note: we cannot offer smalls products at all test ride events. Please check out the Facebook events description, to make sure we have Youth and Grom products available.
Do Step On® bindings come with the snowboard demo at Step On® Test Ride tour events?
Step On® bindings come with the board at Step On® Test Ride Tours. If you don’t want to try our Step On® system, we usually have strap bindings, too, depending on the location of the tour.
What snowboard size do I need?
Contrary to popular belief, the size of your snowboard should be based primarily on your weight and your boot size. Use the Burton snowboard size finder (located on any snowboard product page) and enter both your weight and boot size for our snowboard size recommendation.
