As I said on the Custom Disc Bindings review, my instructor told me that for my first board, I shouldn't cheap out - and I don't feel like I did! As luck would have it, my grand voyage on this thing was at Piancavallo, Italy in almost blizzard conditions. Never experiencing fresh powder before, I was suprised at how stable this thing was especially on fast straightaways. They weren't kidding when they mentioned "effortless carving", because I had to dial down what I was used to from the lessons.
