Whether you’re hot lapping the lifts or deep in the backcountry, the Burton Ranger Jacket has everything you need to outmaneuver Mother Nature. DRYRIDE Durashell™ 2-layer laminated fabric doubles up the wet weather protection, low-bulk, midweight Thermacore™ insulates all season, and a satin lining keeps it smoother than the interior of your creepy uncle’s conversion van. Factor in a moldable hood (it has a wire frame so you can shape it to your liking), a removable Link ZIP™ waist gaiter, and a LIFETIME WARRANTY and it’s easy to see why so many on the team ride the Ranger.

Simply link your jacket’s waist gaiter to your pant and enjoy a 100% snow-proof seal. You’ll find this feature on every single Burton jacket and pant to guarantee you stay drier for longer. Better yet, this year we also made the jacket’s waist gaiter completely removable for a cleaner look in the off-season.

Technical weatherproofing and breathable properties in a buttery soft, bomber package.
In a DRYRIDE 2-layer coated fabrication, a micro-porous or hydrophilic coating is applied directly to the backside of the DWR-finished outer face fabric to provide waterproof/breathable performance. In a 2-layer garment construction, various types of insulations and lining systems can be incorporated to fine-tune the overall warmth, comfort, and breathability of the product.

Burton Sig Fit
Our men’s and women’s outerwear comes in three distinct fits—all tailored around the movements of riding for total protection from wind, wet, and wacky style.
Our tried-and-true fit—built with room for layering, without being overly baggy. Jacket sleeves designed with a bit of extra length to fit over your gloves and keep snow out when strapping into your bindings.
Neck: Measure around the base of your neck, inserting your forefinger between the tape and your neck to allow ease in fit.
Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping tape firmly under your armpits and around your shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around your waist, slightly below your natural waist, where you normally wear your pants. Insert your forefinger between the tape and your body to allow ease in fit.
