Can You Handle It? Zeb Powell’s 205cm Super Ultra Blossom is Here

One of the first times Zeb broke the internet, he was riding a Nitro Snowboards 203cm swallowtail. When Zeb signed onto the Burton Team, it was part of the discussion: Can we make him a custom board that’s larger than life? The answer was, of course.

It's called the Super Ultra Blossom because it’s essentially a super-sized (205cm long) version of the Blossom, which Zeb rides when he doesn’t feel like strapping into a literal spaceship. The swallowtail was Zeb’s idea. We could say it has all kinds of performance benefits (as many swallowtails do), but let’s be real, in this case it mostly just looks rad.

The graphics feature a custom-made comic strip by returning board artist Khary Randolph. You may recognize his work from some of the world’s biggest comic series, as well as a Burton Chopper board graphic. The comic tells the story of an otherwise ordinary guy named Zeb who discovers a magic sword that imbues him with superpowers. The sword design is based on the tail of the Super Ultra Blossom.

Zeb often says that he’s just an ordinary person, but when he steps on his snowboard, he finds his superpower. Like Zeb’s riding, this board is larger than life. Maybe it’ll have the same effect on you. That is, if you can handle it…
