Orders & Shipping
All Orders typically ship within 48 hours once the order has been placed. Orders ship Monday through Friday excluding Holidays. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number once the order has shipped from the warehouse. Please note that we do our absolute best to ship your order as soon as possible, but during busy sale periods high order volume may slow us down. During these periods the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated delivery dates seen in checkout.
Standard Shipping rate: *$9.95.
*Standard and Premium Shipping are not available for residents of Alaska & Hawaii.
In our attempt to process and ship your order as fast as possible, orders cannot be changed or cancelled after they are placed. We want to get people out on the mountain with their new gear as quickly as possible, so we begin processing orders as soon as they are received. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to cancel or modify an order once it has entered the system. This policy applies to all orders placed on burton.com. We currently ship online orders only to locations inside the United States. If you are interested in purchasing a product outside of the US, please visit one of our following online stores or visit your local dealer. We cannot ship orders to a freight forwarding company.
For customers in Canada, Europe, or Japan, please use the region chooser in the site navigation to find your country.
*Note: Sorry, we cannot ship to post office boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Burton Flagship Store Gift Cards, PayPal, and Klarna Pay It in 4*. No coins please. We are also unable to process Visa or MasterCard Prepaid Gift Cards

Your credit card will only be charged once your order has shipped. If your order ships from different warehouses, you may see multiple charges on your credit card. These multiple charges will total the original value of your order.
Paypal orders will be charged at the time of order placement. If an item or order is canceled, your PayPal account will be refunded automatically.
If an item ordered becomes out of stock, you will receive an email detailing the item in question. You will not be charged for the item.
Returns & Exchanges
You can use the returns link below to start a return for your online purchase.
Any unused items purchased between October 15, 2025 and January 1, 2026 can be returned until January 31, 2026. Purchases made before October 15, 2025 or after January 1, 2026 will be subject to our normal 30 day returns period.
Merchandise must be in new and unused condition in the original packaging with all accessories / inserts included and the original tags attached. All products are subject to inspection.
There are some items, however, that are ineligible for return, including:
- Spare parts
- Items marked as “Final Sale” (as noted on Burton’s product detail page or the point of sale)
- Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Cards
- Other exclusions may apply.
Only items that have been purchased directly from Burton, either online at Burton.com or at a Burton-owned Flagship store, can be returned to Burton. Burton products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
Items purchased must be returned in the country purchased. (E.g. Items purchased in U.S. cannot be returned in Canada. Items purchased in Canada cannot be returned in U.S.)
You can expect a full refund for the cost of the merchandise to the original form of payment 7 to 14 days of Burton receiving your return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. It may take up to 30 days to be visible on your credit card statement.
On-line purchases from Burton.com may be returned at a Burton-owned Flagship store or returned to Burton via the return portal with the order number and purchasing email.
A $9.95 shipping charge will be deducted from the refund when using the shipping label Burton offers in the return portal. We often hear this is less expensive than the typical cost to mail an item back yourself. Please note this pre-paid shipping label option is only offered in areas serviced by FedEx.
If you are returning multiple packages (e.g. a board and bindings), please create individual labels for each individual package through our returns portal. This helps us individually track your return to ensure each item is received and refunded (if eligible).

Save your shipping packaging materials! Reusing original packaging helps maintain the quality of the return item(s) and saves material. If the shipping packaging is damaged beyond use, please source replacement shipping packaging (corrugated box or paper mailer). DO NOT ship products in their retail/primary packaging (glassine paper/poly bag, branded box, paper sleeve, etc). This will result in damaged goods and disqualify the return.

Merchandise purchased at Burton-owned retail stores or Burton Outlet stores can only be returned in a Burton-owned Flagship store within 30 days of purchase.
To receive a full refund to the original form of payment, you will need to provide the receipt or the Burton.com order number.

We are not able to accommodate exchanges. You may return your item(s) for a full refund and place a new order. This return must take place within our normal 30-day return window. Refunds will be processed as soon as we receive your return.
If your item goes on sale post purchase, we are unable to price adjust or price match the difference between the original purchase price and sale price of your item. If your product is unused, you may return product for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date.
