How to Get Burton Snowboard Gear from a Previous Season

Sometimes there’s a board graphic that just speaks to you, some boots you can’t quite part with, or a pair of bindings that are one replacement part away from being good as new. Whatever your reason is for wanting previous season Burton gear, here’s what you need to know.

In general, there are three main places to get a previous season Burton snowboard (or other gear):

• Second-hand retailers
• Yard sales

Previous Season Burton Gear on burton.com

We make gear to get used and if we have it in stock—regardless of how old it is—we'll offer it up for sale. burton.com is always up to date with product availability and if we have something at the distribution center, it will be available to shop on burton.com. Your best bet for previous season gear is the sale section, but don’t sleep on it. Past season's products are limited in availability, and we do not re-stock older styles. If we are sold out of a style, it will no longer be available on the site.

Alternatively, Burton stores may have older inventory available. We recommend giving your local shop a quick call if you’re looking for something specific.

Parts & Accessories

If you’re looking for replacement parts for bindings, boots, or other Burton gear from prior seasons, we may be able to help.

1. Gather as much information as you can about the item (approximate year of manufacturing, model name, size, color, et cetera).
2. Check out the Spare Parts & Accessories section of burton.com. We continue to stock tons of parts for gear from previous seasons as part of our sustainability initiatives (more gear on the mountain means less gear in the landfill).
3. Hit up the Burton Guides if you still can’t find what you’re looking for. Since available parts are always listed on the website, it’s unlikely that the Guides can get you the exact part you need, but they may be able to recommend a next-best option.

Previous Season Burton Gear from Second-Hand Retailers

If you’ve completely exhausted all of your options and you still can’t find what you’re looking for, you can try second-hand retail websites like Craigslist or eBay. While we don’t recommend this as your first stop, you can often score great deals on otherwise unattainable previous season Burton gear.

It’s worth mentioning that if you purchase Burton gear from a third-party site, it will NOT be covered by warranty (since you would not have the original proof of purchase).
