Dane Menzies is a Canadian-born, Kiwi snowboarder who specializes in slopestyle and big air. Raised in Canmore, Alberta at the foot of the Canadian Rockies,
He spent his early years training with the Winsport program at Calgary Olympic Park, then chose to represent New Zealand to honor his Kiwi father who is originally from Greymouth. Dane now splits his time between winters in Wānaka and training with Snow Sports NZ under coach Mitch Brown.
Inspired by riders like Mark McMorris for his versatility in both the park and backcountry, Dane is driven to keep pushing his progression.
