At the Burton European Open Snowboarding Championships (BEO), amateurs from around the globe get the chance to challenge the world's top pro riders. The 14th edition of the Burton European Open will take place in Laax, Switzerland, from February 4 to 9, 2013. With six days of elite competition in Halfpipe and Slopestyle, over 300 competitors and a prize purse of US$ 125,000, the BEO is the biggest and most well respected snowboard event in Europe and the only one which offers juniors, women and men the opportunity to show their skills in the same superpipe and slopestyle course. The BEO is part of the Burton Global Events Series and a 6Star World Snowboard Tour event.
The registration for men's & women's qualifier and junior (born after February 9, 1998) events will be possible ONLINE only. The registration period will be from November 19, 2012 8.00 AM CET to December 21, 2012 6.00 PM CET.

INVITED RIDERS: 8 women/16 men for each discipline
men's Slopestyle & Halfpipe qualifier: 80 each
women's Slopestyle & Halfpipe qualifier: 40 each
boy's Junior Slopestyle & Halfpipe: 50 each
girl's Junior Slopestyle & Halfpipe: 20 each
HELMETS: Helmets are mandatory at all Burton events!
