What is W48?
W48 is our Product Service Program: We'll have your claim processed and on its way back to you within 2 business days of receiving it.* That's the best warranty program in the industry and it's all part of Burton's commitment to get you back on the mountain as quickly as possible. * Note that some repairs can take longer than 48 hours to complete. What is Burton's warranty policy?
We warranty all products purchased from an Authorized Burton Dealer to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. ROCK DAMAGE AND ANY OTHER IMPACT RELATED DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. If you wish to submit a warranty claim, you can either call Rider Services directly for a Return Authorization number (RA#), or have any local Burton dealer send it in for you. All claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase, so hang on to your receipts. No matter how you return your Burton product, our claims reps will inspect it as soon as it arrives. Our Warranty Department processes over 95% of claims within 48 hours, and many replacements are shipped within 24 hours of receipt. Check out the Warranty-W48 section of the site for more info.
Can , or do I have to, register my snowboard to qualify for Burton's warranty?
No. We currently do not register serial #s for boards. All you need for your warranty is a valid proof of purchase from an authorized Burton dealer. Check out the Warranty-W48 section for more info.
Is Ebay an authorized Burton Dealer?
