When designing the Burton [ak] Yeti Mitt for riders like Jussi Oksanen and Jeremy Jones, we had to make sure that this woolly fleece-lined mitt could live up to the meanest conditions, while remaining supple enough to not hinder hunting and foraging (or strapping in and shoveling). To combat the elements we used Guaranteed To Keep You Dry® GORE-TEX® materials. Taking cues from pro football, the Pittards® Oiltac Leather Palm with NEW MICROVENT breathability stays extra grippy by maintaining a reservoir within the leather to continuously replenish grip. For those who find themselves removing their hands from their gloves often to dig pits, check maps, and take photos—GORE-TEX® XTRAFIT technology prevents annoying liner pullout, keeping it locked inside the shell.
