The only down side is that it does not fit most European carry-on restrictions because it is too deep, so I will have to check it when flying.

Comments about Burton Wheelie Flight Deck Travel Bag:
I just got this bag a month ago and put it through some heavy travel immediately.
I went to Tahoe from Chicago for the weekend flew from there to a business trip and from there flew to Mount hood for a week. I packed ALL my clothing for 2 weeks in this bag. (excluding snow hard and soft gear)
8 T-shirts, 3 button downs, 12 pairs of socks, 15 underwear, 3 jeans, 2 shorts, bag full of toiletries, 1 extra pair of shoes and a hair drier.
This list fit on this carry on bag with some careful folding with no problems, so I added a leather jacket sandwiched in between the to large compartments. It's like a black hole for clothing!
It seems to to alter time space continuum to fit more clothes in itself.
The outside of the bag is smooth. One end has a slight inwards taper to it which is awesome because it just glides into the carry-on compartment even on the most space starved airlines.
It sounds superfluous but the cushy handles are so comfy! It is almost nice to have to lift the back of the awesome skate roller wheels.
The majestic plaid pattern is a head turner. I got 3 comments on this bag during the trip.
Pros
- Comfortable handles
- Durable
- Great Skate Wheels
- packable
- voluminous
Cons
Best Uses
- Carry-on
Comments about Burton Wheelie Flight Deck Travel Bag:
Wow! I'm a road-warrior level business traveler and have had this bag for about 2 years. I'm so happy that this is my go-to travel bag. I always fly out of ORD and have never had an issue zipping thru security with this bag. I've traveled with this bag multiple times to the EU and to India and always have enough room for all of my gear. I love the great skate wheels that roll smoothly and super durable telescoping handle that I can use with the "pass-thru" on my briefcase. Heavy duty zippers can take all kinds of punishment. Buy with confidence! This is the best roller board carry-on on the market!
