The quickest dial up connection.
That’s why we developed the NEW Burton Tyro with Total Comfort for an out-of-the-box feel that’s just as good from day one to 100. NEW Speed Dial lacing enables fast and precise turn-by-turn adjustment, while the low-profile EST® outsole cushions while putting you closer to the action. Softer than the Ruler but of a similar breed, the Tyro is for the rider looking for a lighter, higher performance boot than they’ll get with an entry level boot like the Moto.

Comments about Burton Tyro Snowboard Boot:
First off, ignore any reviews that say something about the turn-dial lacing being messed up. I've tinkered with them a lot and there is nothing wrong with it. They can be tightened super fast and loosened even faster. They DON'T loosen when you don't want them to. These boots are pretty light and you feel like Iron Man wearing them.
Comments about Burton Tyro Snowboard Boot:
I was excited to get this boot so I wouldn't have to use the dreaded laces. The boot is very comfortable, but has heel lift and I cannot go a smaller size. I was going to get J bars but I noticed another problem. The speed dial does not tighten enough. Also when I put a lot of pressure on the boot where it bends a bit, the dial loosens and if the dial is knocked ever so slightly it loosens as well. If the dial ACTUALLY locked, it would be much better.
