Comments about Burton Premium Bonded Hoodie:
If you want a hoodie to wear on the mountain instead of a jacket like I did then this hoodie is EXACTLY what you are looking for. I went to Steam Boat, CO for 3 days and I wore it as my jacket all 3 days and it was all I needed! I wore long johns and a t-shirt underneath and it was all I needed to stay warm and dry. I was worried at first that it wouldn't be warm enough so I brought a jacket just in case but I didn't need it at all... Not even close... The first day the temp was in the mid to high teens and snowing, The second day it was in the low 30's and all I had to wear that was a long sleeve shirt underneath and that was almost too much, and the last day was in the mid 20's and it was a Zero visibility powder dump and I swear to you that this hoodie did it's job and then some. It kept me completely warm and I never had an issue with the temperature. The DWR coating on it is what makes this hoodie invincible because there was absolutely no issue with the jacket getting wet. It's not even that it just dried quickly... It's that even boarding through the snow and even laying in it the jacket resists the water completely and absolutely... It not only works great on the mountain but also looks great to wear out as your hoodie and kept me warm in both situations. It is a couple inches longer than a normal hoodie which is perfect because I am 6'2" 230 lbs athletic build and a lot of times hoodies are too short for me and I constantly have to be pulling them down but a Large fit me perfectly and it stays straight, is plenty long to stay below your waist line and doesn't ride up at all. If you are thicker in the mid section you may need an XL because although I'm sure it would stretch but It has a nice slim athletic fit to it which was not a bad thing because it looks awesome and keeps it from riding up. I have the Light Blue and it looked great... I just can't say enough about this hoodie and again if you are lookin to ditch the jacket and just wear a hoodie on the mountain you will not be disappointed and you will stay warm and dry guaranteed. People may think you're crazy and ask you where your jacket is like they did me but you will not be disappointed and you may look crazy but you will also look good doin it!!!
