Less is more with this potent strain.
What is known about this potent little number, and all strains of Nuggetry for that matter, is that you can downsize 8 to 10cm for a quicker, more maneuverable ride. Optimal breeding means it will out-tweak, out-maneuver, and out-spin your normal board due to a complete retooling of shape, flex, and effective edge. Continuous rocker only adds to the addictive nature of this exotic freestyle subspecies.

Comments about Burton Nug Snowboard:
The Nug is by far the best board I've riden to date. There is nothing else like it on the market. Although this website says otherwise, the best bindings for novices all the way up to experts is the EST bindings. This board is very versatile and rides well in heavy, slushy, powdery, and even icy conditions. There is no reason somebody wouldn't enjoy this board.

Comments about Burton Nug Snowboard:
I was looking for a new board, saw the Nug and liked everything I saw on the web site about it. The "Ultimate Setup" according to Burton is to pare up the Nug with the Bootlegger bindings. Taking Burton advice I purchase the two. I ride a Blunt and love it, the all mountain riding capability of that board is just great. In my opinion the Nug with Bootlegger bindings is just an awful combo for all mountain riding. The board does not respond as advertized and I just had a bad weekend riding this combo. I was so mad I was going to sell the board but decided to call Burton and ask what was happening. After several calls I was finally told to go with the Mission bindings and try the board again. I spend the money on the Mission bindings. In my opinion that is a very good combo for me because the board now acts as advertized. So now I am happy with the board but have bindings I don't like.
If you are the all knowing rider that is great for you because you probably already know the Bootlegger bindings are not for everyone. Now I know Burton has that "Ultimate Setup" for specific type of riders but it's not clear to all for what riders. I just wanted to put it out there for new riders looking at this board because the buying and selling of the bindings cost me some money I did not have to spend. Again the board is great. I just wanted to put this out there hoping it will help someone and allow them to make a more informed decision.

Comments about Burton Nug Snowboard:
When I was looking for boards I wanted something smaller than what I rode (155). The guy at the store told me that for my body style a NUG in 146 would be perfect, I was hesitant on going so small but as soon as I finished my first run of the season I was so impressed. It's amazing on park, powder, back country trails, black diamonds. I absolutely love this board and for the price it makes it even better. Only problem was that after my first day riding there were a lot of chipped edges on the nose and tail, I did a quick repair. Thank You Burton for being so amazing.

Comments about Burton Nug Snowboard:
I love this board. I was hesitant at first, as I used to only ride my custom x down black and double blacks, but this board was amazingly able to handle the terrain great. It was Awesome. I have also never been able to really butter well before, because of the stiffness of my other board. With the nug, however I was buttering down the mountain in no time. The nug defiantly gave me the funnest ride on the mountain I have ever had. By the way, incase you were wondering, I am 5'11" about 220 with a size 12 boot riding the 146.
