The third annual BURTON RAIL DAYS presented by MINI is the world’s largest street snowboarding contest and will once again be held at Roppongi Hills Arena in the heart of Tokyo, Japan on November 16th, 2013. This year, 17 top urban rail riders from around the world will compete to win the title and take home a piece of the $27,000 USD prize purse.

For the past two years, Burton Rail Days has drawn a record-breaking crowd, who come from all over Tokyo to watch top urban rail riders battle it out in a world-class snowboard street competition. In 2011 and 2012, over 4,000 spectators came out to watch, and thousands more viewed the live webcast which was broadcast worldwide.

The competition features the world’s best pro snowboarders showcasing tricks on a wide variety of urban terrain, including handrails, boxes, walls and transition features. In addition to urban riding, BURTON RAIL DAYS also features live music performances, a Burton Riglet Park which gives the smallest kids a chance to try snowboarding, and a live painting event. All events are free and open to the public. For more information, follow the hashtag #BurtonRailDays and tune in to the live webcast to catch all the action right here at Burton.com/BRD.
