That’s a wrap on the 3rd edition of the Burton High Fives presented by MINI. It was another event to remember from Cardona Resort in New Zealand as 60 of the world’s best riders tested their skills both on and off snow. This year’s High Fives had everything from a fantasy football style auction draft to form the teams, to a blindfolded off-road MINI driving challenge, and some pretty epic riding in slopestyle and halfpipe. The biggest twist for this year came in the form of new prize payouts, with $70k going to the winning team. This put a huge emphasis on the team standings and made for some dramatic competition as riders cheered their teammates on throughout the contest, trying to post the best scores possible with the goal of splitting the winnings.
