Easier than a tricycle with training wheels.
Better than watching Barney, the After School Special makes learning a cinch with super soft, parent-friendly bindings and a saucer-like snowboard that teaches balance and board control. With the fully adjustable bindings pre-mounted in a beginner-friendly stance, simply grab the package and go. It doesn't get any easier than this.

Comments about Burton After School Special Snowboard:
We bought the 80cm package with the bindings as well as the Ringlet for towing. Just took our 20 month old out for the first time and this set up is perfect! Couldn't find snowboarding boots small enough for her and the FSGrom bindings fit any boot nicely. She was using infant/toddler Sorels and they worked great. The Burton Ringlet is a must. You can tow your toddler around so they can get used to balancing on flats before you hit the slope and the cord retracts as soon as you let go. Everyone at the base of the resort was commenting on the board and set up. The board also has a nice metal edge for when she starts making her own turns. Cant think of anything negative to say. I might have gone with the 90cm or 100cm for her to grow into it since it is a nice enough board even beyond learning.
