EVENT OVERVIEW

New for 2013, the Burton US Open has a revamped format and new entry criteria. In order to earn your spot at the US Open in Vail, you must be one of our invited riders, finish in the top two in the 2013 Burton European Open Junior Boys Halfpipe/Slopestyle or first place in the BEO Junior Girls Halfpipe/Slopestyle, or compete and qualify at the all new US Open Snowboarding Qualifiers Presented By MINI to be held at Seven Springs, PA on February 1st - 3rd, 2013.

For the first time, Burton is partnering with U.S. Snowboarding on a unique competition that will allow riders to earn valuable Rev Tour points as well as 4Star World Snowboard Tour points, but most importantly earn the right to move on to the next round of competition in the US Open Snowboarding Championships. We will be inviting the top 10 men and top 5 women in each discipline to compete in the Semi Finals in Vail, CO on February 25th - March 2nd based on their results from the qualifiers in Seven Springs.

Remember, there will NOT be a pre-qualifying or qualifying round in Vail this year...all competitor spots in Vail will be by invitation or qualification ONLY.
